Going out to dinner, a family member’s home or any other outing will be more difficult. The main thing to keep in mind is to plan ahead. Call the restaurant to make sure it is wheelchair accessible. Eventually you will figure out the most accessible places to go for food, events and entertainment.

Mental Adjustment

Aside from adjusting to the physical side of being in a wheelchair, the mental adjustment is just as important.
